Does Unlocking Galaxy S6 Slow Down The Phone?

Samsung Galaxy S6 T-mobiles were launched in India in 2015. The 32 GB variant of this phone was priced around Rupees 23,999 and has a lot of features which made it worth the buy. It has a 5.10 inches touchscreen with a display of resolution of 1440X2560 pixels which makes the handset ideal for streaming videos or playing games. The Samsung Galaxy S6 at&t mobiles are available in the following variants of 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB which could not be expanded by external SD cards. The phone had a 16-megapixel primary camera as the rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera for clicking brilliant selfies.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 T-Mobile is a single SIM smartphone that only accepted a Nano SIM and was already connected to a cellular network which made it less costly than other Samsung S6 handsets. With a non-removable battery of 2550mAh, this smartphone runs on Android 5.0 and included all sorts of connectivity options from Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, Wi-Fi, Infrared, USB and OTG to 3G and 4G LTE networks.

Now, it may happen that you want to get your phone unlocked from the previous network and switch to a new one for which you needed the unlock codes. So, to unlock Samsung Galaxy S6 at&t and unlock Samsung Galaxy S6 T-mobiles, follow the steps mentioned below.

To unlock at&t mobiles, dial *#06# from your phone and find out the IMEI number. You can also find this number printed on your phone right below the battery. Go to any of the websites who provide unlocking services. Submit your IMEI number and your email ID along with a nominal fee. They will calculate and send your unlock code on your email ID within 3 working days. Use that code to unlock your phone from the previous network and switch over to a new one whose benefits you want to avail.

If this form of unlocking doesn’t work, then here is another process which you can follow to unlock Samsung Galaxy S6 at&t and T-mobiles. The descriptive instructions by following which you can unlock your gadgets are discussed below:

  1.    Take the phone to a registered customer care and find out if your device has the eligibility to be unlocked. This can only happen if the gadget is not stolen or imported through illegal activities.
  2.    Go to the Home Screen of your phone and click on ‘Apps’.
  3.    As the Apps window open, click on ‘Device Unlock’.
  4.    When a popup comes, click on ‘Continue’.
  5.  Now select the unlocking type- a) Permanent Unlock, b) Temporary Unlock
  6.    Wait till the device requests for unlocking.
  7.  If you are successful, restart your device to apply settings.
  8.   If you don’t restart, a continuous alert will appear.
  9.  In case you are receiving error messages, contact the customer care.
  10. As the phone gets unlocked insert the new SIM of your preferable network.

Unlocking the phone will not slow down the handset in anyway and you are free to avail the perks of your preferred cellular network.
